B.Ed. Program is a set of twelve theory courses and practical work that are linked together meaningfully aiming at achieving excellence and competence in pedagogic practices and enabling the student teacher to become an efficient and effective school teacher. The said program will end in awarding a degree ‘Bachelor of Education’.

Acquire conceptual tools of sociological analysis and hands-on experience of engaging with diverse communities, children and schools

Apply knowledge of various aspects of development of learner for planning learning experiences

Develop skills regarding various role of teacher in facilitating learning

Develop a conceptual understanding about issues of diversity, inequality and marginalization in Indian society and the implications for education

Apply constructivist and cooperative learning principles for teaching-learning process

Analyze contexts and the relationship between school curriculum, policy and learning

Apply knowledge of the cultures, policies and practices that need to create an inclusive school

Use information and communication technology for enhancing learning-teaching process

Use drama and art for development of personality of learners

Relate knowledge about gender, school and society with learning

Eligibility

1.Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

2.The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the respective state Government.

B. Ed. Admission Process

1. Notification :- Admission notification and advertisement by Maharashtra Govt. about admission in news papers.

2. Online Form :- Candidates are required to fill online forms for CET.

3. CET :- CET is conducted and results are declared online

4. Option Form:- Deserving candidates fill option forms for selecting colleges

5. Merit List :- Merit list for 1st, 2nd and 3rd round is published online according to stipulated dates

6. Seeking Admission :- Candidates seek admission in colleges of their preferences

7. Visit College :- Candidates who get provisional admission letter for our college come with necessary documents and fees

8. College Form :- Candidates read brochure and fill form of college for scrutiny of admission score and required documents

9. Verification :- Original documents are checked and admission score is checked and verified by faculty. Students are provided counseling for selection of optional subjects

10. Admission Confirmation :- Admission is confirmed when candidates pay fees in Bank of India and submit required documents to Office

11. Counselling :- Information of student is recorded and Counseling is done about nature of B. Ed. course, expectations about attendance and personal problems such as pregnancy, health problems, financial problems etc.
