D.El.Ed which is also known as Diploma course in Elementary Education. It is a full-time two-year diploma course to train teachers for the primary level and it can be done with distance learning as well as classroom training. There are a total of four semesters throughout the course, that prepare the candidates to work in primary/ upper primary schools of different states within the country. The D.El.Ed course is designed in such a way that it includes internship and practical training along with classroom instructions. It also includes the education practice, principle of child development and the role of the teacher in grooming the students.

·         Use information and communication technology for enhancing learning-teaching process

·         Use drama and art for development of personality of learners

·         Relate knowledge about gender, school and society with learning

·         Acquire basic understanding about new trends in education
